Important Shipping Notice — U.S. Customs Regulation Update

Notice for U.S. Customers

Effective August 29, 2025, the USD 800 de minimis exemption will be discontinued.

📌 After this date, all imports into the United States, regardless of origin or value, will be subject to customs duties and formal clearance.

📌 While the seller continues to cover all shipping costs, any duties and taxes imposed by U.S. Customs are the buyer’s responsibility.

This is a significant change from previous rules, where parcels under USD 800 were exempt.

Please consider this carefully before placing an order. Upon arrival, U.S. Customs may require direct payment from the recipient, and shipments cannot be released until these charges are settled.

Why do I need to pay customs duties?

Customs duties and import taxes are imposed by the destination country’s customs authority.

These charges are beyond the seller’s control and vary depending on local regulations.

How much will the duties be?

The exact amount depends on your country’s tariff rate and the declared order value.

Since regulations differ from country to country, we kindly recommend confirming the details with your local customs office for the most accurate information.

When and how do I pay?

The courier (DHL, FedEx, etc.) will usually contact you directly once the parcel arrives at customs.

You will be asked to settle the duty before the parcel is released for final delivery.

We are delighted to offer worldwide shipping and cover the full cost of delivery. Please note that customs duties, taxes, and other charges may be imposed by the customs authority of the destination country and are the responsibility of the recipient. These costs are not included in the purchase price and cannot be reimbursed by the seller.

The recipient must complete customs clearance and pay charges before delivery. If a parcel is refused or unclaimed due to unpaid customs fees, the seller cannot accept a return, cancel the order, or refund. The parcel may be retained or disposed of by customs. Can I get fabric samples?

Beginning August 29, 2025, the U.S. de minimis exemption (USD 800) has been suspended globally.

Due to this policy change, postal services can no longer accept parcels bound for the United States, including small sample shipments.

To provide a fast and reliable delivery service, we now ship exclusively via DHL Express, as standard international mail has frequently resulted in delays and lost parcels.

Are the Prices for One or Two Curtains?

1P = One Panel
2P = Two Panels

The price may vary depending on curtain length, header type, and whether or not lining is added.
If your preferred size is not listed in the options, we are happy to create a custom size for you.

You may also choose to add a lining, or order the curtain without lining — we offer a variety of options for your convenience.
If you experience any difficulty placing an order, we can prepare a private listing just for you.

📌 Custom Orders
For custom orders, we kindly recommend prior consultation in advance. Without it, additional confirmation may be required, which could cause delays in processing your order.

Regarding the Width of Pinch Pleats and Pencil Pleats Headers

If you choose a pleated header (such as Pencil Pleats or Pinch Pleats), please note that the finished width will be approximately half of the standard fabric width.
For a fuller and more elegant look, we recommend adding extra panels.

Pinch Pleats: A standard panel width of 53" will finish at approximately 26.5–29.5" after pleating.

Pencil Pleats: The standard width of 53" applies when the cords are not pulled. Once the strings are drawn, the finished width will reduce to about 26.5–29.5" per panel.

Because pleated headers require significantly more fabric — often two to three times the amount used for regular headers (such as pin hooks, rod pockets, back tabs, or grommets) — the cost is generally more than double.

Natural Imperfections in Fabrics

Please kindly note that when working with linen fabrics, certain natural characteristics may be present, including:

• Raised slubs

• Interwoven threads in slightly different shades

• Gentle variations in fabric color

These features are inherent qualities of linen and linen–cotton blended fabrics, reflecting their natural beauty and authenticity.

We kindly ask for your understanding that such variations are not considered defects, and therefore cannot be accepted as a reason for return.
